From All Out Hell Wiki

All decisions are made at the discretion of the moderation staff and while we do believe in giving offending players an opportunity to redeem themselves, all users should be aware that there are some offences that will receive few, if any, chances. It should also be noted that the examples given within this ToU document do not constitute an exhaustive list and the moderators reserve the right to take any steps that they see fit to ensure that this is an enjoyable game for the whole community.

If the moderators tell you to stop doing something, immediately stop doing it. Doubling down on behaviour, debating, ‘rules lawyering’ and trying to quote the explicitly stated offences at the moderators will only push you further along the disciplinary road and that road is not very long.

As a matter of course, if it is a first offence and the moderators deem it worthy of more than a simple warning, all of the offending player’s accounts will be suspended for a specified period of time, usually ranging from two weeks to a calendar month. In the event of an especially severe offence, the moderators reserve to right to impose longer suspensions or go directly to a ban, entirely at our discretion.

Upon completion of a suspension the player will regain use of all their accounts. However, in the event of any future violations, the result will be an immediate and irrevocable ban imposed upon all existing and future accounts created by that player.

Section One - General Conduct: These are general rules and guidelines for personal conduct, to be followed both in-game and in the official metagame channels such as the wiki and official Discord.

  1. Racism, sexism, homophobia and all associated forms of bigotry/discrimination are prohibited. This is an instant ban and the moderators know how to spot a dog whistle, so do not assume that being sly with it will save your account(s).
  2. Doxxing is expressly banned. If you share identifying information about another player against their wishes, you will be banned immediately and irrevocably.
  3. Other forms of harassment, such as in-game and metagame bullying will result in suspensions at the absolute minimum. There is a fine line between a playful taunt and harassment, so be careful in interactions with players who you do not know personally, especially if interacting repeatedly. Do not assume that your good intentions will be known to onlookers. There are a vast number of ways in which people can be harassed/bullied, so the moderators will decide what constitutes bullying on a case-by-case basis. As an example though, use of degrading, humiliating or derogatory terms or roleplay scenarios toward another unconsenting player has and can result in account suspensions.
  4. Sexual/sexualised roleplay and content has no place in this game. Do not assume that you are in private with your roleplay partner, as there is a hiding mechanic in this game. Save yourself and others the embarrassment and keep it away from the game and official channels. It is especially to be noted that non-consensual roleplay will be considered text rape and that will result in an immediate and irrevocable ban for all of the offender’s characters (past, present and future).
  5. Gross, explicit or otherwise offensive content will not be tolerated. Examples include bodily functions and/or fluids, references to explicit/gross (non-sexual) activities and events, etc.
  6. Religion and Politics: Grime City is not the real world. Leave your religious and political positions behind when you cross the border.
  7. Bypassing in-game filters: There are word filters that prevent the use of certain words and/or terms. If you opt to bypass them via spacing, special characters, etc, you can at minimum expect to see your communication privileges revoked as a first step, but the moderators reserve the right to employ any and all available measures, up to and including permanent bans.
  8. Choosing an offensive name for your character, or including similar references in your character biography, will fall under one of the above headings and the character will be banned as soon as the moderators are aware of it. If you have other (innocently named) characters, they may be considered for bans too.

Section Two – Gaming Activity:

1.Zerging: This is the act of making multiple characters in order to coordinate and fulfil the same goals in unison. Your characters are each intended to exist separately and any coordination at all violates that. Offences include:

  • Using one character to scout/spy for another.
  • Passing on items from one character or another, whether by direct contact, intermediaries or the storage system.
  • Using multiple alts to secure or clear areas that are in close proximity.
  • Having multiple alts in the same group.

We have a system in place to prevent this, but it is not infallible and if you are found to have deliberately bypassed this system we will take action by immediately locking your accounts. You will then need to contact us to explain your actions. If your explanation is deemed sufficient then we will issue a conduct warning and unlock your account. If it is deemed insufficient then you will be subject to suspension and/or banning at moderator discretion Any repeat offences after a warning or suspension will result in immediate and permanent bans for all existing and future accounts created by the offending player. For ease of reference, it is generally safest to keep all your characters in different neighbourhoods and ideally at least ten blocks apart.

2.Alt Abuse: This is essentially a soft form of zerging and is best described as using information and resources that one character is privy to, in order to benefit another. For example, stumbling across a player with your Bloodlines or Death Squad or whatever groups alt and then killing them with your Babble Rabble character.

3.Spying: Using information illicitly gleaned from the private Discords/forums of rival players as a method of playing against them is prohibited

4.Not reporting bugs/exploits and using them to gain some advantage over others: This is a form of soft cheating and will not be tolerated.

5.Griefing: This game is about killing and landing repeated kills upon one target is par for the course. However, someone who is abusing mechanics in order to continually target someone with either kills or other forms of interaction such as graffiti, speech, etc, could be charged with griefing by the moderators if there is enough evidence and/or a clear pattern of behaviour. This is unlikely to receive a warning. The moderators will almost certainly go straight to suspensions and/or banning.

6.Spamming: The communication systems (including radio, spoken and graffiti) are there for fun and information, not for players to spam links or promotion for out-of-game events, products or entities. You may face muting of all of your characters, suspension or bans at the discretion of the moderators.

In summary:

Don’t be shitty to people. Always remember that there is a player behind each and every character and they are trying to have fun, just as you are. If you become the person who ruins other people’s fun, the moderators will have ruin yours.

Similarly, if you suspect that someone is breaking any of the above rules, or you feel there is another potential issue with them, get in touch with the moderators and provide as much evidence as you can.

Most of all though, have fun and help others do the same.
