Events

There are some random events that happen:

Fog disables tracking of player
Snow leaves footprints so you can follow people, but it doesnt allow people to hide in the snowbanks
Spores are a weather event. Spores grow from the mushrooms that fester on the corpses piled in the sewers. All the mushrooms release their spores at once, like some sort of interconnected hive mind, flooding the city with little glowing specks.
- Red spores disable hiding. (7/11-7/15/24)
- Green spores disable hiding and tracking. (Started June 21st at 6:20PM EST, Ended Approximately 1 week later.)

On July 6th, 2024 the Helix Building in Elgin was badly damaged in some kind of airstrike. The remaining building seems to only produce tufts of fur when searching. The current explanation for this is there was a specific fuzzy creature in that Helix building, so Leviathan had to air-strike it. It's possible some got out... but they haven't been seen in a while.
