Zuccaro's was a beloved Beachwood staple before the disaster. Founded in 1992 by Italian immigrant Emilio Morricone, it soon garnered high marks, with the beef tagliata in particular a big hit. Despite the similarity in name, Emilio was not related to famous director Ennio Morricone, and he later admitted getting tired of people confusing him for Ennio. Nevertheless, he hung a couple of scenes from Ennio's movies as wall portraits, because everyone else seemed to like it. Emilio's whereabouts after the disaster are unknown; surviving associates claim he was still going strong after three decades of cooking and restaurateuring.
